This Ends Here are sombre but hopeful Crossover/ Post-hardcore/ Crust/ Post-rock/ D-Beat. Bites like barbed wire. Ambient bits that sound like Godflesh/Jesu. What slow Grindcore would sound like. Lyrics reek of retaliation against right-wing orthodoxies, are pro-feminist and a reminder not to fuck with mother nature.

Conqueror Worm (Hellboy reference!) deal Grindcore noise-rock damage like a massive Three One G infight. Unholy trinity of bass, drums and vox. Bassist Luke Archer is currently in Human Cull which you’d be insane to not acknowledge the overtones of in CW. He’s also done the artwork for the release under the name Black Fuji and ex-Merciless Precision (don’t hold that against him). Vocalist Nathan and drummer Aaron are both in Cernunnos (Doom). Aaron also drums for Trollkraftt (Stoner rock). One of three different Grindcore bands in Bristol UK, all bringing big game to the genre.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
